Dr. Bergen has advanced training and experience in treating post traumatic stress, dissociative disorders, incest, adults abused as children, and Attention Deficit Disorder.
During her years of practice, she has treated all forms of anxiety disorders, depression, grief and loss, people in states of life transitions, marriage problems, people who are suffering with chronic illness, and many other forms of emotional suffering.
Dr. Bergen uses tools for healing such as guided imagery, EMDR, clinical hypnosis, Voice Dialogue therapy, and other therapeutic tools as appropriate for the individual client.
She has taught classes in meditation for beginners and up to advanced students.
As a minister ordained by the International Metaphysical Ministry, Dr. Bergen offers training in meditation techniques for those individuals who are seeking to add more spiritual awareness in their lives.
Most recently, she has added energy healing to her practice, which involves the body's own healing mechanisms that are involved in both the illness and the healing process.
Dr. Bergen maintains a general practice, treating individuals beginning at adolescence, couples, families and groups.
